The repair of the position of a main shaft bearing has always been one of the hottest issues that companies are concerned about. Regarding the repair process of the spindle, new technologies from the traditional to the modern have always been the focus of attention.
Recently, in a coffee grounds processing workshop, the operation of the spindle of the 2# press was abnormal.
After the shutdown inspection, it was found that the inlet of the equipment entered the steel pipe, and the interaction between the main shaft blades and the filter wall caused a deep defect in the broken mesh wall, affecting the entire main shaft. This defect created an axial displacement and due to the large torque force, the axial force generated by the action of the main shaft spiral blade was also large, so that the thrust bearing on the transmission side was repeatedly crushed. The main shaft and the main shaft are severely worn.
After the damage was analyzed, engineers organized the tissue to disassemble and inspect the transmission side support components and the motor. After disassembly, it was found that the outer ring of the thrust bearing in the bearing housing was completely broken, and the broken bearing also caused serious damage to the bearing housing and could not be used. After disassembling the bearing, it was found that the bearing position was severely worn and could not be recovered. Since the equipment was imported from Germany, large imported spare parts could not be shipped for repair. The company contacted external employees to understand the repair method.

It took into account the different equipment on-site, different bearing fits, etc., taking into account the concentricity and journal tolerances after repair.
