Emerson Bearing Boston, a bearing company catering to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) markets around the world, has recently developed a new guide that helps designers and engineers find bearings that meet their engineering requirements.
To help designers/engineers with their next rolling bearing project, Emerson Bearing has announced the release of “Bear with Us: Bearings 101”, an infographic on the fundamentals of identifying bearings. This is an essential guide for identifying types of rolling bearings, bearing anatomy, and various applications for different industries.
The guide, as well as Emerson Bearing’s extensive Bearings 101 Resource Library, is accessible from the Technical Toolbox section of their website at www.emersonbearing.com.
Downloadable tools and other resources are also available in their online library and include a “Nomenclature Guide to Common Bearing Types”, “Bearing Basics” guide, “Bearing Training Manual: Nachi”, and much more.
“In this competitive world economy, it is critical that we provide bearings that meet our customers’ engineering requirements,” explained Steve Katz, president of Emerson Bearing. “We are dedicated to helping customers find the right bearing for their application. Our Bearings 101 infographic provides the necessary details that designers and engineers require in their selection of bearings.”
