Here’s another one of Kaydon’s wide variety of bearing solutions. The Reali-Slim TT series includes the first small-scale, thin section turntable bearings designed for demanding applications. Reali-Slim TT series turntable bearings save weight, reduce product design envelope sizes and increase design flexibility. Reali-Slim TT® bearings offer significant advantages vs. conventional slewing ring bearings, including:
Smaller size (smallest bore size is 1.5-in., the largest is 6.0-in., and the height is only .25-in.)
Greater accuracy—the extended radial bearing section increases rigidity, and optional preload or clearances meet application torque or deflection requirements
Easier to use—fast installation and change-out
Available in custom configurations: many drive options, gearing/timing belt, mounting hole types
Designed to withstand harsh operating environments when specified with AISI-440C steel races and steel-reinforced seals
Reali-Slim TT series turntable bearings are a proven, single four-point contact ball radial design, consisting of a single row of balls with a unique “gothic arch” raceway and one-piece separators for low frictional torque. Radial, axial and moment-load capable, Reali-Slim TT turntable bearings are shipped pre-lubricated and ready for use. Installation is fast and easy; the bearing is positioned on the mounting face and tightened down by mounting screws.
Versions are available with optional internal or external spur gear, or in non-geared designs. The geared versions are 64 diametric pitch with 20° pressure angle, AGMA Class 10, and provide low backlash. The bearings are cleaned and packaged in an ISO Class 7 clean room, and up to ISO Class 5 clean room standards are also available.
Reali-Slim TT series are suitable for demanding applications including robotics, radar antennae, and factory positioning and inspection tables.
