Precision bearings assemblies for mobile medical workstations

Kilian-medical-bearing-imageA medical equipment manufacturer was looking for an economical bearing assembly for use on its adjustable height medical workstations. Four bearings are positioned at the base of the telescoping stand that allow the user to easily raise and lower the ergonomic workstation table to the desired working height.

In response to the customer’s application requirements, Kilian engineers designed a precision bearing overmolded with a Delrin outer race to reduce noise during operation. The bearings also allow adjustment of the workstation table in a smooth gliding movement. The bearings are completely sealed to prevent any ingress or egress contamination.
