C&U Americas, LLC, the North American subsidiary of the C&U Group, makes spherical roller bearings for use in aggregate equipment, construction equipment, continuous casting machinery, steel mills and paper mills. The bearings are precision made to the highest quality standards.
C&U Americas spherical roller bearings have a high load carrying capability, misalignment up to 1.5 degrees, and good speed performance. This results in improved equipment reliability and reduced operating costs. All of the bearing configurations have an outer ring raceway that is a superfinished, continuous spherical surface, two superfinished inner ring raceways that are inclined at an angle to the bearing axis and two rows of barrel-shaped rollers that closely match the raceway profiles. This design allows the bearings to handle a combination of radial loads and moderate axial loads together, as well as heavy radial loads and impact loads.
C&U Americas Spherical Roller Bearings are available with a variety of design features such as pressed steel cages, one-piece machined brass cages, cylindrical bore or tapered bore options, and outer ring lubrication grooves. The wide range of design variations make the bearings suitable for use in other key industries such as alternative energy, off-highway, construction, mining, as well as agricultural, electric motor, gas, oil, rail, and textile.
